A soup specialist tucked into the Gaeksa lanes. The star is daegu jiri-tang, a clear, cooling broth with soft cod. There is also pollock soup and Korean beef gomtang, and the gochujang pork bulgogi set comes with a doenjang stew in an earthenware pot. Side dishes are made fresh daily. Plenty of locals drop in alone for a quick bowl.
