A dumpling-soup shop on the ground floor of a downtown Jecheon side street. The signature is dakkalman: chicken, knife-cut noodles and dumplings simmered in a red-pepper broth that makes you sweat. If heat worries you, ask for it mild. Solo diners can stick to the dumpling soup or kalguksu, and many finish with fried rice.
