This is where the Joseon navy built and repaired ships, a designated historic site (No. 392). A stone-walled dock still stands by the water, and you can picture ships being hauled in. The turtle ship of Admiral Yi is said to have been built around here. A loop takes little time, so it slots easily into a history route.
