A beach close to central Yeosu whose sand is dark enough to earn the name black-sand beach. Even outside swimming season it is a good place to walk by the sea. Around the 20th day of the fourth lunar month, people come to bury themselves in the sand for the traditional treatment. Restaurants and cafés sit near the beach.
