A permanent market about a kilometre long, with more street stalls than shops, so it feels like a country market. Hairtail, croaker, shrimp, clams and flatfish from the waters off Yeosu are heaped in baskets. Many sellers price by the pile rather than by the fish. Plenty of vendors finish by 1–2pm, so go in the morning when it is liveliest.
