Yeongdeok itineraries
Lighthouse, turbines, Ganggu
Step off the train at Yeongdeok Station, walk the crab-claw lighthouse and the turbine hill, eat a whole snow crab at Ganggu Port and catch sunset at Samsa Marine Park before heading home. Three taxi rides cover it, no car needed.
North Yeongdeok overnight
Tiled-roof hanok village in Yeonghae, the long sand of Goraebul, flounder at Chuksan Port. The northern half you can't reach on a day trip, taken slowly, with the waves as a lullaby at the glamping site.
Blue Road, south to north
Start on the Jangsa coast and work north along Route 7 through Ganggu, Changpo, Chuksan, Yeonghae and Goraebul. Walk half a day of the prettiest Blue Road stretch, lighthouse to Chuksan, and sleep by a different sea each night.
