Fine sand and pine forest run side by side for about 4 km on the northern coast of Yeongdeok. The water is shallow, so it is a good walk even outside high summer. Paths wind through the pines, giving you shade and the sound of the sea. It faces the East Sea head-on, and many come to watch the sky redden at sunrise.
