Lower Namdaecheon near Naksan Bridge, Yangyang

Each autumn salmon return from the sea and push up the Namdaecheon river. Decks and lookouts along the lower bank let you watch their backs break the surface. A Songi-and-salmon festival is reported for 16-18 October this year. Yangyang is also pine-mushroom country, so the season pairs well with a mushroom meal.
