The walk starts at the Guryongsa entrance and runs past the temple and Guryongso pool toward the falls. The pine forest path as far as Guryongso is a barrier-free trail, fine for strollers and slow walkers. After that a gentle climb leads to Seryeom Falls, a 6.7 m cascade that drops in two tiers. Allow about 1.5 hours for the 3 km round trip. Beyond the falls the path to Birobong gets steep and is hard for beginners.
