A museum designed by Tadao Ando. You walk between bare concrete walls and out to a courtyard of water, and the sky and hills hit you before the building does. The James Turrell work is a room you enter by timed slot. Following the garden paths eats half a day. In autumn the coloured ridgeline hangs right beside the concrete.
