Walking the valley path at the foot of Chiaksan, the pines get thicker and Guryongsa appears past the main gate. Legend says the monk Uisang filled in a pond of nine dragons to build it. Beside the path stands a Joseon-era stone marker banning logging. Beyond the temple a gentle walk continues to Seryeom Falls.
