This is the biggest onggi-making village in Korea. Rows of jars line the lanes and the kilns are still fired. The Ulsan Onggi Museum holds a giant jar listed by Guinness. Salt-filling and pottery workshops can be booked ahead, and an onggi festival runs each May.
