Sunken from an old eruption north of Seonginbong, this basin is one of the few flat stretches on the island. Log-walled tumak houses stand at the village entrance, and one shingle-roofed house is preserved. Wild-herb restaurants cluster here, so many visitors come for lunch. Ringed by hills rather than sea, it feels quiet.
