A line of sand hills runs just behind the beach, protected as a natural monument. Start at the Sinduri Dune Center for its exhibits, then follow the wooden deck as sand ridges and reed wetland alternate. You cannot step into the dunes, so you look from the boards. Entry and parking are free. With a booking you can join a free guided walk three times a day.
