This was the first private arboretum in Korea, with trees and flowers stacked up a seaside slope. One man tended it for about fifty years, and magnolias and hollies are especially rich here. The path suddenly opens onto the West Sea, and you hear the waves through the trees. Part of it is closed to visitors, so you walk only the open trails. In magnolia season go early.
