Suwon itineraries
Fortress walls and a whole chicken
Start at the palace, walk the wall north to the pavilion over the stream, ride the little train around, and finish the day with fried chicken by Paldalmun. Everything Suwon is known for, in one day.
A night in Haenggung-dong, then the lake
Day one is the western wall and the palace after dark; day two is the lake park, galbi, and the big library inside Starfield. Old Suwon one day, new Suwon the next.
King Jeongjo's road, fortress to tomb
Walk the full wall loop, ride out to the royal tombs where King Jeongjo lies, and finish at the Korean Folk Village in Yongin before heading home.
