It stands right in the middle of Hwaseong, so it works before or after a wall walk. The Construction Hall uses models and objects to show how the fortress was designed and built. The Culture Hall covers the people who built it, Jeongjo's eight-day procession and his Jangyongyeong guards. A portrait of Chae Je-gong, the first governor (Treasure No. 1477), and Jeongjo's secret letters are on show. There are children's experience rooms too.
