A small round hill in the middle of the city that, from afar, looks like an island. At the top, Gangnamjeong, a three-storey octagonal pavilion, looks down over the streets and the Dongcheon river. Cherry and azalea cover it in spring, and locals walk it morning and evening. Taking the path from Jangdae Park keeps the climb easy.
