A dam reservoir built over eight years from 1984, with a lakeside road of 145.5 km around it. The water pushes in and out between ridges, so the view changes with where you stand. It sits on the road between Songgwangsa, Nagan Eupseong and the dolmen park, so it is an easy stop when driving through. From the dam crest on the Sangsa side the water looks widest and bluest.
