A Suncheon confectioner running since 1928 that sells just two items: chapssal-tteok and ball castella. The mochi is chewy and packed with red bean, and the castella is a soft batter around sweet bean paste. A TV feature drew crowds, and it now works almost like a reservation shop. Many people box it up as a Suncheon souvenir.
