Sokcho itineraries
Seorak and the Gaetbae
Cable car up Gwongeumseong in the morning, market chicken and the hand-pulled ferry after lunch, then Yeonggeumjeong at sunset. This is the loop most first-timers do, for good reason.
Sea and Lakes Overnight
Skip the mountain and follow the water. Day one runs from Daepo Port to Cheongchoho; day two is a lighthouse sunrise and a lap of Yeongnangho.
Seorak, Goseong, Yangyang
Ulsanbawi on day one, the northernmost observatory and Hwajinpo on day two, a waterfall lookout and Naksansa on day three. A drive up and down the coast.
