A short strip of sand right under the red Sokcho lighthouse. The breakwater keeps the waves fairly gentle, so kids paddle here, and on better swell days you see people with boards. Cafes line Yeongnang-haean-gil behind the beach, so you can carry a coffee onto the sand. It is quieter than Sokcho Beach and nicer for a slow walk near sunset.
