In about five minutes the cars glide past Ulsanbawi and the rock clusters of Manmulsang to a station around 700 m up, below Gwongeumseong. From there it is a 15 to 20 minute walk to the top, where Sokcho and the East Sea lie spread out below. Only round-trip tickets are sold, and only on the day at the counter. Strong wind or bad weather stops the cars fairly often; unused tickets are refunded, but keep your schedule loose.
