A dakgangjeong shop on the ground floor of Sokcho Jungang Market, frying sweet-spicy chicken since 1970 and now run by the third generation. The sauce is said to rest for more than 72 hours. You choose boneless or bone-in, then mild, spicy or sweet. Reviews say it holds up even after it cools, so many people box it up for the hotel or the beach. The shop notes its appearances on Korean TV food shows.
