Fishing boats fill the small curved harbour, with raw-fish restaurants and market alleys running along the quay. Most people come to eat fresh sashimi, mulhoe and fried seafood. A 15 to 20 minute climb up the hill behind the port leads to the Daepohang viewpoint, which looks down on the round harbour and back toward Seoraksan and Ulsanbawi. It is described as a spot where you can see both sunrise and sunset.
