A lagoon in the middle of town with a shoreline of roughly 5 km. The park on its banks was the site of the 1999 international tourism expo. Across the water you can see Expo Tower and the Seorak peaks, and on one side the harbour view with moored squid boats. The evening, when the lights come on, is when most people take their walk. The gaetbae pier sits at the lake's outlet.
