The falls sit above Yukdam Falls, a walk up the valley from Sogongwon. Water slides down a rock face into a dark pool, and from the steel deck the sound fills the whole gorge. The distance is around 2.4 km each way, so anyone in comfortable shoes can do it. The trail continues on to the Towangseong Falls viewpoint.
