Heungseon Daewongun's old villa stands on the slope of Inwangsan, and a glass-and-concrete art museum sits right below it. After the galleries you step straight out into a garden of timber pavilions and old pine trees. The last stretch up to the annex is a short climb, and the ridge view from the top pays it back. Exhibitions rotate, so check what is on before you go.
