Follow the lane from Mangwon Station and a narrow market aisle opens up, lined with side-dish stalls, fruit sellers and snack counters. The chicken-gangjeong shops always have a queue out front. People wander with a paper bag of chicken in one hand and a fritter in the other. The cafes of Mangridan-gil are right next door for the second half of the afternoon.
