A 204-room boutique hotel dressed in 19th-century French style by designer Jacques Garcia. Antique furniture, dark wallpaper and chandeliers run from the lobby onward, and you briefly forget you are in central Seoul. Exit 7 of Hoehyeon Station is right outside, and the Shinsegae flagship and the Myeongdong alleys are walkable. Great if you like ornate and classic, wrong if you want minimal.
