This private museum revives Bohwagak, a house built on a Seongbuk-dong hillside in 1938, where collector Jeon Hyeong-pil first housed his hoard of paintings, calligraphy and ceramics. It is not a permanent display: it opens only when a show is on, so check the schedule first. Visits are by reservation, so the rooms stay quiet.
