A private museum run by Samsung with two buildings side by side. Museum 1, a brick building by Mario Botta, shows old Korean art; Museum 2, a dark metal building by Jean Nouvel, shows contemporary art. Seeing national-treasure ceramics and Buddhist paintings up close is the main draw, and the architecture is worth a walk-through. It combines well with the cafés of Hannam-dong.
