The head temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, right beside Insadong. The courtyard has a great old Chinese scholar tree and a lacebark pine. Around Buddha's Birthday in May the whole yard is strung with lanterns, and in autumn there is a chrysanthemum display. Incense drifts among the office towers, and office workers drop in on their lunch break. The temple stay information office is here.
