Pottery, hanji paper and brush shops stand on both sides, with traditional teahouses among them. Step one row back from the main lane and you find courtyard hanok cafés. In shopping buildings such as Ssamziegil, craft shops fill every floor. Street snacks like the poop-shaped dongppang keep you going. Jogyesa and Bukchon are close, so it fits into a half-day walk.
