Gomtang is all they have made for nearly 80 years in a Myeongdong lane. The menu is just the soup and boiled beef, so a bowl lands almost as soon as you sit. The broth is clear and deep, and the rice arrives already mixed in, the traditional way. It opens at 7am, so it works for an early meal or a hangover. Many diners come alone.
