A silver building of curves with hardly a straight line, opened in 2014 and designed by Zaha Hadid. Outside you walk up its ramps and stairs to see the shapes; inside are exhibition halls and design shops. At night LED roses light up the lawn in front. The Dongdaemun fashion wholesale malls start across the road, so shopping follows naturally.
