The fountain shoots water off both sides of Banpo Bridge into the Han River and is recorded by Guinness as the longest bridge fountain, 1,140 metres. After dark it plays about twenty minutes of music and light shows. Many people spread a mat on the park lawn and eat chicken or instant ramen while it runs. The Sebitseom floating islands are right beside it.
