Hwangmaesan straddles Hapcheon and Sancheong, and Mirinae Park sits on the Sancheong plateau. In May azaleas turn the ridge red; in autumn silver grass bends in the wind. The park holds restored village sets from a film shoot, so photo spots keep appearing as you walk. There is no entry fee, and it works as a day trip linked with the Hapcheon side.
