A valley-end temple with a National Treasure bell
- Address
- 1211-37 Odaesan-ro, Jinbu-myeon, Pyeongchang
The road up Odaesan ends here. The Silla-era bronze bell is National Treasure No. 36, carved with flying heavenly maidens. Legend ties the temple to King Sejo, who met the bodhisattva Munsu disguised as a boy at the stream, and the wooden boy statue is also a National Treasure. Many people walk up from Woljeongsa on the Seonjae-gil trail. The whole valley turns red in autumn.
