An eight-seat gondola from Yongpyong takes about 18 minutes to reach the 1,458 m summit area. A wooden boardwalk runs through the forest past twisted, centuries-old yew trees. The slope is gentle enough for strollers and older walkers. On clear days the view opens far over the ridges. In winter the snow-covered yews change the whole scene.
