A lakeside temple and a loop over a suspension bridge

Hours
Open all day
Address
1 Oeo-ro, Ocheon-eup, Pohang

The temple sits on the shore of Oeoji lake under Mt. Unjesan. Its name comes from a legend in which two monks each claimed the fish they had revived. A suspension bridge, Wonhyo-gyo, leads from the temple onto a 7 km loop around the lake, alternating boardwalk, barefoot path and forest trail. The temple alone takes an hour; the full loop about two.
