Trains ran here for nearly a century; now 4.3 km of track between Hyoja Station and the old Pohang Station is a tree-lined path through the city. There is a music fountain and a play forest for kids. The Fire Garden, where natural gas once burned, went out in 2024, and its future is undecided.
