Gwaneumpo is the water where Admiral Yi Sun-sin fell in the Battle of Noryang in 1598. Irakssa shrine looks over that bay, and the park holds his statue and a wall of about four thousand buncheong ceramic tiles picturing the battle. Entry is free. The sea is calm, which makes you stand there longer than you planned.
