A red suspension bridge over the Noryang strait

Noryang-ri, Seolcheon-myeon, Namhae

Opened in 1973, this suspension bridge is the old gateway linking Hadong and Namhae. The Noryang strait below runs fast, and lights from the Hadong shore hang on the far side. After dark the bridge is lit and its outline stretches across the water. Chungnyeolsa shrine, honoring Admiral Yi Sun-sin's last battle, is close by.
