The forest curves like a crescent along the shore. Villagers planted and guarded these trees long ago to break waves and wind, and it is now Natural Monument No. 150. Walk in the shade and you hear water right beside you. The Mulmi coastal road runs in front, so it fits neatly with a stop at the German Village.
