Rows of V-shaped fences, bamboo woven between oak stakes, stand in the narrow Jijok strait. When the tide drains, anchovies pile up in the net at the point of the V, a way of fishing kept going for centuries. About twenty traps remain, and the closest view is from Changseon Bridge. At sunset the water between the stakes turns red. You cannot walk up to them, so this is a place for looking.
