Up the Hill, Over the Sea

Arrive by KTX and do it all on foot and by taxi: climb Yudalsan in the morning, wander the colonial-era streets and Seosan-dong lanes at midday, then ride the cable car across the water to Gohado and finish with sunset at Bukhang.

A Night in Old Town

One car-free night. Day one is a slow walk through the old streets and Seosan-dong, ending with the night sea at Peace Square; day two takes the cable car to Gohado and the skywalk, then a bakery stop before the train.

Mokpo and the Purple Island

Three days with a car. Yudalsan and the old town first, then over Cheonsa Bridge to Shinan's Purple Island and back for the cable car, and a last day around Samhakdo, Gatbawi and Hadang before heading out.
