Building 1 is the former Japanese consulate built after the port opened, and Building 2 is the old Oriental Development Company branch. Exhibits trace Mokpo from the port-opening years through the colonial period. At Building 1 you can see the main hall and the air-raid shelter behind it. Walking between the two buildings also passes old streets of the old town.
