Painter Heo Ryeon spent his last years working in this thatched studio. A round pond sits in front of it with a tiny island and a single tree in the middle, and the Cheomchalsan ridge rises behind. The Namdo traditional art museum by the ticket booth is free. A slow walk takes about an hour.
