The cable car links Jindo and Haenam, gliding about 28 meters above Uldolmok on a 14-minute round trip. In a clear-floor Crystal cabin you watch the water twist and churn right under your feet. This narrow strait is where Admiral Yi Sun-sin held off the Japanese fleet with a handful of ships. From above the currents show their grain, and you see why they call it the roaring channel.
